I travel frequently, at least 80% of the time for business and I’m very passionate about staying healthy and fit while on the go. I wanted to share my tips with others in hopes that it would make your fitness journey a little bit less stressful while traveling for business or leisure. I had a hard time adjusting to life on the road at first- you’re spending hours on planes, long drives, and you are in and out of hotels with rare options to cook on your own, thus relying on “take out.” Throughout my travels, I have come up with several tips and tricks on how to stay healthy while traveling.

I started my fitness journey several years ago when I was on the Amazing Race- yep…the reality competition show. Training for the show was very tough and at first, I didn’t enjoy it. After sticking to it though, I developed a habit of working out and eating more healthfully and my distaste soon turned into a passion for a healthier and more active lifestyle which has remained consistent on and off the road.

My passion for health and fitness runs deeper than just an image. It’s about an overall better quality of life. I’ve witnessed the struggles that my grandparents went through due to health issues that could have been avoided had they led a healthier lifestyle and made better food choices.
